原紗央莉さんの命名の秘密
AV女優の原紗央莉（はら•さおり）さんの自伝に関連したインタビューをインターネットで読みました。その自伝『本本名、加藤まい 〜私がAV女優になった理由〜』が発売になったのは昨年末のようので、もう1年近く経つのですが、私がそのインタビューをたまたま見つけたのは先週のことです。
そこには、AV業界の上下関係、男優さんのこと、浮気についてなどさまざまなことが話されているのだが、特に印象に残ったのは次の３つです。
ーーAV女優になって失ったもの、得たものはありますか？
原「失ったものは、「仕事」かな。普通に考えてAV女優はゴールデンタイムに地上波に出演することは難しいし、NHKはたぶん出られない。大きい企業の広告の仕事もできない。AV女優になったことで、昔よりは私のことを知ってくれる人が増えたけど、AV女優じゃない方ができる仕事は多いです。
あとは彼氏を失ったかな。普段出会う男の人は別にいいけど、もし自分が本当に愛する人ができた時に、その人が「AV女優をしていた子なんて無理」という考えだったら、悲しい思いをするかもしれないですよね。
得たものは、昔より私を知ってくれる人が増えたこと。仕事の意味ではアイドル時代よりはるかに充実した毎日を送れていること。出会いが増えたことですね。」
ーーAV女優になって後悔したことは一度もないですか？
原「後悔先に立たずなんで、ないです。AV女優になると決めた時は、今後失うものはいっぱいあるだろうと思ったんですけど、それでも現状から脱出したかった。フリーター時代のクソみたいな人生よりはまし、と思ったからこの世界に入ったんです。」
ーー「原紗央莉」という芸名に由来はあるんですか？
原「特にないです。なんか日本っぽい名前がいいなって気軽に考えました。「紗央莉」が最初に決まって、「紗央莉」をベースにあう苗字を探しました。それで「原」は原監督もいるし悪いイメージないよね、という感じで候補に上がりました。字画数を調べたら、意外によかったので、「原紗央莉」に決まりました。」
最初のやりとりを見て「冷静で、大人な人なんだなぁ」と感じ、２つめの会話では「フリーター時代のクソみたいな人生よりはまし」という部分に「強さや根性入ってるなぁみたいな気合い」に感心。３つめの芸名の由来では、「原」は原監督もいるし悪いイメージないよね、という部分に笑ってしまいました。芸名を、そんなノリで決めてるんかい、と。
監督ということでいえば、原の他にもあり得るそうですが、やっぱり「原」がいちばんなのでしょうか。

画数までは調べていませんが、やっぱり、原紗央莉がいちばんしっくりくるような気がします。でも、その名前ですでに売れているから、そう思えてしまうのかもしれませんね。
最後に余談ですが、原紗央莉さんと誕生日が同じこともあって、なんとなく応援しています。
