「Zen Brush」アプリを用い、iPadで描いてみたら爽快感が

昨日、iPhone 4Sで初めて使った「Zen Brush」というアプリを今朝、iPadにもダウンロードして使ってみた。ピンチアウトして（画面にタッチした2本の指を広げて）拡大できれば、もっといいのに、とiPhoneで使用したときと同じことを感じた。
初期のiPadでやってみたのだが、こういうふうにお絵描きする際は、iPad miniよりも画面の大きな iPadのほうが気分よく使えて、楽しいんじゃないかな。大きめのスケッチブックのほうが、のびのび絵を描きやすい、というようなことか。
小さめのスケッチブックにちまちま絵を描くのが好きという人もいるかもしれないが、画面が大きいほうが一本の線を引くにも、手のストローク（動き）が大きくなって、動作そのものが運動に近づく。スポーツの快感とまではいえないが、肉体を用いて絵を描いているという感覚がより強くなる。描くことによって爽快感が増す、という感じ。
と書きながら、楽器でいえば、ドラムを叩くとスポーツに近い快感を得られる、ということを思い出した。打楽器は、より肉体的な楽器といえるのでなかろうか。ピアノも打楽器といえば打楽器だが、ドラムやパーカッション（パーカッションでひとことでまとめるのは乱暴かもしれないが）、叩けば叩くほど汗をかき、スポーツに近い爽快感が得られる、そんな記憶が甦る。
