  4. Quad biking sounds like a great activity to enjoy with friends in Dubai. Everyone can share the excitement and create fun memories together. It seems like a perfect group adventure.

  5. Thanks for your publication on the vacation industry. I would also like contribute that if you are a senior thinking about traveling, its absolutely important to buy travel cover for elderly people. When traveling, older persons are at greatest risk of getting a health emergency. Buying the right insurance cover package to your age group can safeguard your health and give you peace of mind.

  6. Thanks for the recommendations on credit repair on this particular site. Things i would advice people would be to give up the particular mentality that they may buy today and shell out later. As being a society most people tend to do this for many things. This includes getaways, furniture, plus items we’d like. However, you should separate your current wants from the needs. When you’re working to improve your credit rating score you really have to make some sacrifices. For example you are able to shop online to economize or you can turn to second hand retailers instead of high-priced department stores regarding clothing.

  11. Thanks for your post here. One thing I would really like to say is the fact most professional fields consider the Bachelors Degree like thejust like the entry level standard for an online course. While Associate Degrees are a great way to get started, completing a person’s Bachelors reveals many entrances to various careers, there are numerous online Bachelor Course Programs available by institutions like The University of Phoenix, Intercontinental University Online and Kaplan. Another issue is that many brick and mortar institutions give Online editions of their degree programs but commonly for a extensively higher charge than the corporations that specialize in online qualification plans.

  12. I have observed that online degree is getting preferred because attaining your college degree online has developed into popular solution for many people. Many people have not necessarily had an opportunity to attend a traditional college or university although seek the improved earning potential and a better job that a Bachelor’s Degree offers. Still other people might have a diploma in one discipline but wish to pursue something they now have an interest in.

  16. One important issue is that if you find yourself searching for a student loan you may find that you will need a co-signer. There are many situations where this is correct because you might discover that you do not possess a past credit history so the loan provider will require you have someone cosign the borrowed funds for you. Good post.

Thanks for your publication. One other thing is the fact that individual American states have their very own laws which affect homeowners, which makes it quite hard for the the legislature to come up with a new set of recommendations concerning foreclosure on house owners. The problem is that a state offers own legal guidelines which may work in an unwanted manner in relation to foreclosure insurance policies.

  22. Thanks for your article. I would also like to say that a health insurance brokerage also utilizes the benefit of the particular coordinators of a group insurance plan. The health insurance broker is given an index of benefits searched for by someone or a group coordinator. Exactly what a broker may is look for individuals or even coordinators which often best go with those demands. Then he offers his ideas and if both sides agree, the actual broker formulates legal contract between the 2 parties.

  25. I have a HP Spectre XT netbook. The installed BIOS is F14 and the latest one on their website is F26. I’d like to do an upgrade but they only provide a Windows executable. I tried booting with FreeDOS (using the Ultimate Boot CD), but the executable won’t run in DOS, only Windows. I don’t want to install Windows anywhere (I don’t have it, I replaced it off the system disk with Ubuntu). So how can I upgrade with only Ubuntu installed on my system ? I haven’t tried Wine, does it work for that purpose ?
This method worked fine on an HP EliteDesk 800 G2 TWR when I tested.I guess this method is not supported by HP, so I add this warning: a BIOS upgrade, if failed, can break your computer!
Note that this does require another windows pc to open the bios-update executable, but there is no need to install windows on the target pc, nor do you need a windows recovery disk or windows-pe or any such thing.
Use a separate Windows system to download the correct bios-update executable for your system from the HP support site. In my case the file was called sp95703.exe (HP Notebook System BIOS Update, version F.35 Rev.A).
Run the executable on the Windows system. Don’t worry, it will not try to install the update, but it will open a utility that creates a bios recovery drive, as explained on the HP site. Follow the steps to create the USB recovery drive.
In my case, the device did not boot from USB automatically, so I hit esc immediately after turning on, to enter the “startup menu”. Here I chose F9 “Boot Device Options”, then “Boot from EFI file”. Select the file system named HP_TOOLS, navigate to Hewlett-Packard, BIOSUpdate, and finally select the HpBiosMgmt.efi.
I had significant difficulty upgrading the bios. I wasn’t able to get any of the other answers here working – many seem outdated and referring to old versions of the bios updater software. The tricky part with the network upgrade is that my computer is new enough that it only has usb-c instead of ethernet. Multiple people at HP support I spoke to said I would be unable to do the network upgrade as a result because it only worked directly over ethernet, but they were misinformed. Using a Thunderbolt dock did not work, but I bought a usb-c to ethernet adapter to try the bios upgrade and finally had success!
Google and Coffee got me there ,i don’t mind adding links but was hoping giving the name of the Tool would set you up to google what you needed which in turn would make sure you read and absorbed the important info and warnings HP wrote
The computer is cycled at startup, it turns off for a moment, turns on again, the keyboard (which has lights) does not turn on, the Shift key stays on and the power button gives two blinks, extra to this, the load led gives 8 amber blinks.I assumed that as it gave me code 2, the BIOS was corrupted, I tried to enter the CMOS restore mode with win+B and power on, but it stays eternally in the cycle.I assumed that it was not win+B to enter the BIOS recovery, then I left the power button pressed for 20 seconds, then the laptop reacts and the keyboard turns on, but still no video, and after 5 seconds it turns off again and returns to the cycle.I tried to do the power drain, remove the battery and disconnect it, and leave the power button pressed for 30 seconds, but when I plug it in without the battery, the blinks cycle continues.
In that point, i thing the problem would be solved with a simple reprogramming on the chip, i search a healty .BIN file on internet and i downloaded it.Before im started to reprogram the chip, i make a backup(i cannot upload it cuz im new :c ), and i reprogram the healty bin file on the BIOS chip.
I tried to understand that information, and i ended on the forum from plutomaniac about the CSME and all the thinks from BIOS.I tried to make another .BIN file for the probook, but i given up yesterday, cuz i pass all my time on that.
Today, i ask to my ITI teachers about the problem, and one of them says to me that I had to test by booting the computer without bios and without ram, now i tried it, and for my surprice, the PC replied
    4. My last hopeI tried again to reprogram the BIOS chip with the Healty .BIN, i put on the notebook, and i startup the PC without ram, i turned on, and makes 2 shorts beeps and 2 large beeps, im extracted the chip once again, and extracted the .BIN, the MEA launch me the following error
the File system state is marked as an error, do i need to add the firmware to the file?, cuz the two original bin files are also damage, and the system does not have a chance to load the firmware correctly. If i upload that files to my bios chips, where will the laptop get the firmware from?
I just got a hold of a used laptop, a “HP Pavilion Notebook – 15-ab128no (ENERGY STAR) ” to be more precise. However, it was full to the brim with bloatware and other smack, so I decided to reinstall it. As this laptop has a fair few years on it’s neck, I thought, why not try the infamous tiny10 I’ve heard other people use on their old hardware. so I made a bootable USB with the official tiny10 iso with rufus, and booted the laptop into that USB and installed tiny10. All was well, or so I thought. After the installation I was not able to boot into windows once, because I got a BSOD, acpi_bios_error… and it kept happening. never allowing me to boot into windows. the PC was unusable, basically. so I scoured the internet to find a solution, and believe me I have tried soooo many different things, but nothing have worked. I managed to do something that got my hopes up, but they died rather quickly afterwards.
So I made a recovery drive USB, but was unable to boot into that as well, as I got the BSOD. So what I had to do was I had to remove the NVME drive, plug the recovery drive into the USB, boot into recovery mode, and as I was given the choice to select a keyboard language, I had to plug the NVME drive back in, and then I was fully in the recovery mode. However, from there I’ve tried everything I could find online and what I could think off. I went into cmd, diskpart and “clean all” on the NVME drive, which wiped it completely. And after that, I was actually able to run a normal Win10 installation (made with the media creation tool) and install W10. However, on first boot I got the BSOD again… So I tried updating the BIOS but I always got a failed update when trying to.
Now, here’s the kicker: I can install/boot into the USB installer on any linux distro. Booting and installing linux works without any issues whatsoever. But Windows does not. Is something broken with my hardware? And if so, why can I install and use Linux without any issues on this PC?
I understand how frustrating it can be to encounter a persistent blue screen of death (BSOD) error, especially after reinstalling your system. You’ve provided a detailed description of your issue with the ACPI BIOS error on your HP Pavilion 15-ab128no, which is very helpful. Let’s explore some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this problem.
The “ACPI BIOS Error” typically relates to issues with the system’s Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI), which handles power management and hardware configuration in the BIOS. This error can be caused by outdated or incompatible BIOS versions, corrupted system files, or hardware compatibility issues.
By following these steps, you should be able to address the “ACPI BIOS Error” and successfully install and run Windows 10 on your HP Pavilion 15-ab128no. If the problem persists, it may be worth consulting HP support or professional IT services to perform a deeper diagnostic.Thank you for your patience, and please feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.
Thank you for your prompt response. I apologize for any frustration caused by the previous guidance and appreciate your detailed follow-up, which clarifies that you have already attempted several of the suggested steps. Given the complexity of the issue and your thorough troubleshooting efforts, we’ll explore more advanced solutions and considerations.
    2. Use a Known Good NVMe Drive or SATA SSD. Given that removing and re-inserting the NVMe drive allowed access to recovery mode, the drive itself could be a factor. If available, try using a different NVMe drive or a SATA SSD. Install Windows 10 on the new drive to see if the issue persists. This helps isolate whether the original NVMe drive might have underlying issues.
Also, I doubt your problem is related to not having a clean install of Windows 10, if it is the desire to dual boot Linux and Windows 10 may be causing the problem. For the blue screen issue you’re experiencing, it’s usually necessary to get a specific dump file and then perform a specific analysis, but given that you’re unable to boot smoothly, analyzing the crash behavior is unlikely to be achievable, and there’s very little advice that can be offered. If the problem remains unresolved after trying these advanced troubleshooting steps, it may be time to consult professional hardware diagnostics or HP support directly. They can offer more tailored assistance and potentially perform deeper hardware inspections.
The change It’s not a bad idea to prolong overall battery life (I have my phone set to warn me when it gets to 80%) but they should communicate that change clearly in the release notes, as if you’re used to using the battery until it’s low, losing 20% of your normal charge will have a noticeable affect.
I just replaced my HP laptop battery (five years old) today, coincidenally. Also plugged in 95% of the time. I try to note when it’s around 80% and unplugged, and let it run down to 30%-ish, but I miss catching it a lot, and when I’m not using it, it’s plugged in on standby.
my hp omen 17 i have had for 6 years. only charges to 80%, but the above optimize setting NEVER lets it charge over 80%, and your battery icon still says it charging to 100% but in reality on 80% of available power.
At least with my omen the way it worked, the battery icon says it is only at 80%, in my opinion it is much better to do it this way (in windows s/w) than hidden in the bios so you have no idea it is happening. https://sites.google.com/view/wondershare-data-recovery-41-

  26. Also, if you go to Manage Extensions and disable the Bitwarden browser extension, does the Chrome Password Manager still prompt you to save passwords? If not, what happens if you then re-enable the Bitwarden browser extension in Manage Extensions, without making any other changes? Do the password saving prompts from the Chrome Password Manager re-appear?
I would love the ability to set the default account for saved sites. I have a few sites that I have multiple accounts and having it default to the one I mostly use would be a great addition and a little time saver.
This can work as a workaround, although it would be good to have an actual feature. Right now the app selects which password to display by alphabetical order, so adding a character to the name will resort and display the desired account (so other accounts will still be visible based or URL, in case those are needed).
I believe Bitwarden currently prioritises auto-fill on an alphabetic order, but would be good if there was a tick box to select your priority account to auto-fill on a website. i.e if you have multiple google accounts (work, personal, etc.) you can set which one will be the default auto-fill.
Currently you have to register lots of different credentials for the same URL and it kinda works. But auto-login in a browser using Ctrl-Shift-L always seems to choose the top one, and so does BitWarden on iOS.
You can have personal accounts you barely use (Xbox) and work accounts you use all the time (Azure AD) and 200 test-accounts, and currently Bitwarden does not really provide you with a means to set which accounts you would prefer to be the default one.
This is exactly the problem I was about to request a feature for, really hope this gets fixed, for websites I have multiple logins for it completely breaks this functionality of using Ctrl-Shift-L.You have my vote!
I have a shared family account with my wife. On my iPad, the app shows her login as the default for paypal instead of mine, every time. I would prefer to be able to choose to show mine as the default for me (and hers as default for her) while still retaining access to both.
I have several logins for several services with the same URI/domain. I would like to be able to set a default login for a URI/domain per Bitwarden instance. So, the first time using fill user/password with a Bitwarden install I can save this as the default.
Was just about to suggest the same thing. I have two google accounts, one for personal use, and one for GCP cloud console. Most cases I want to use my personal email, but I need to manually copy the password. I would love to be able to give priority with a checkbox.
If you use browser profiles other than the default profile, then you may have to find the correct profile folder under %localappdata%\Google\Chrome\User Data\ and subsequently navigate to the subfolder Local Extension Settings\nngceckbapebfimnlniiiahkandclblb within your profile folder.
Look for a .log file that has a six-digit numerical name (e.g., 000123.log), and open it in Notepad. If you search for the term passwordGenerationOptions, you should be able to see the password generator options for your browser extension.
I am having the exact same problem with the Firefox extension. Can you provide guidance for how to check / fix the issue? I have generated to my spec in the FF extension, but it never remembers this for new website sign ups. It also does not seem to remember my generation settings between the BW website portal, Mac Desktop app and the FF plugin at all. thanks
However, the browser extension in Firefox should remember the most recently used settings for its Generator, unless you are doing something to clear that data. Are you routinely logging out of your browser extension, or are you routinely clearing out browser data when you restart Firefox?
I am new to 1Password. I have it set up on my MacPro, using Ventura 13.2.1. Also on my iPad and iPhone. I have found how to make 1Password my default password manager on both iPad and phone. I can’t find how to do it on my Mac. When I go to websites, most of the time the 1Password icon doesn’t appear and nothing fills in. I have gone to Apple/System Settings/Security&Privacy, and under Accessibility turned on the 1Password icon. That didn’t fix it. I am using the Safari extension for 1Password, and have that installed.
I didn’t realize I’d lose the ability to manage my three WAX620 APs after a period of time – I thought LAN management was free, and WAN management was what they charged for – so now I can only access two of my APs via IP address. That’s not a big deal. The big deal is that I do not have the login information for them; I have no record of setting passwords when I set them up, and I keep records of EVERYTHING.
Yes, the local management is always free. The key question (unanswered!) is how you managed the WAX620 earlier. The password is – regardless on how it was set – not changed out of the blue. The Insight network location password does remain in place, even in the case when the Insight subscription does expire for some or all devices.
With Netgear Insight in the installation, you can retrieve or set the local admin password by the Insight network location -> How do I display or change the device admin password for an Insight network location? Once set, the default admin password is of course no longer in place.
I’ve just installed Ubuntu Server on my Raspberry Pi 2 B and the download page says that the default username and password are both “ubuntu”, but the system says that the password is incorrect. What’s wrong?
I searched for a solution and found this question. The existing answer was no help. When I went back, some text had come up on the console about cloud init and SSH keygen. I tried again, and ubuntu:ubuntu worked!
I like to use Enpass as a password manager for applications, other than webbrowers. This is possible, for a long time on iOS, and recently I’ve noted that MacOS applications are also have to possibility to access a password manager other than the build-in KeyChain.
Here is an example what I’m missing. The screenshot below an example of an Application asking me to log in. I have that account stored in Enpass, but it does not show up in MacOS. With the functional described in my post above, all Enpass passwords would be made available, and on iOS, this already works flawlessly. I would love this functionality to come to be available on MacOS too.
This is why: By default, the UNIX account “postgres” is locked, which means it cannot be logged in using a password. If you use “sudo passwd postgres”, the account is immediately unlocked. Worse, if you set the password to something weak, like “postgres”, then you are exposed to a great security danger. For example, there are a number of bots out there trying the username/password combo “postgres/postgres” to log into your UNIX system.
Of course things can change if you configure it differently from the default setting. For example, one could sync the PostgreSQL password with UNIX password and only allow local logins. That would be beyond the scope of this question.
The Admin guide showed the default user/password to be admin/admin even in FIPS-CC mode. We also found a Palo Alto documentation that for FIPS-CC it should be admin/paloalto but that didn’t work as well. There was a mention of using the serial number as the password when logging in via SSH which also didn’t work. Does anyone know what this user and password should be?
I’ve run into this same issue on 11.x.x and opened a ticket. The first recommendation was to validate you haven’t locked yourself out with too many failures as FIPS will hard lock that account. And being the only account at this point, the box is now effectively bricked. The second recommendation was to downgrade to a known good OS version, iirc that was 10.2.0 in my experience and convert to FIPS there, then upgrade to 11.x.x within FIPS mode. The engineer made a veiled reference to this being a known issue without any public documentation yet but wouldn’t explain further.
However, I am literally doing this right now on a new deployment and run into the same issue again. 10.2.7-h3 appears to also have issues with the default FIPS credentials. Searching the default creds to make sure my memory is intact is actually how I found this thread.
Thanks for your response. As a result we are now looking at getting an exemption with our FIPS requirement on the firewall until this issue is resolved by PAN. I’ll except this as the solution and post back here if I discover anything further. Thanks,
TAC engineer recommended to install 10.2.5, Enable FIPS here, then once enabled, Upgrade to 10.2.8 to prepare for the Certificate issue coming here in April. Once you’re FIPS enabled on a certificate approved image, I have had no issues upgrading further. I also got confirmation that this is a known bug that is being tracked for fixing and affects most (all?) “modern” releases of the PAN-OS image.
In recent versions however, they have moved to generating keypairs for each machine. If you would like to find out where that key is, you can run vagrant ssh — -v. This will show the verbose output of the ssh login process. You should see a line like
So in Windows Explorer, navigate to the private key for the VM on the path in your log, right-click and select properties. Then go to the Security tab and click the Advanced button. Next, Add your specific user with Full Control, and then select whichever group also has permissions and click the Disable inheritance button at the bottom of the dialog and chose to remove all inheritance. You should be left with just your own user account having permissions on the private_key file. Click Apply and close the properties dialog, then try vagrant ssh again. It should now let you in without asking for a password. https://sites.google.com/view/windows-81-full
