昨日の夕方、体調がわるいという息子を病院に連れていったあと、院外薬局で「あ、バイオハザード」と息子が言うので見てみたら、このような案内があった。薬局の女性に「ゲームにもあるんですけど、あのバイオハザードというのは？」とたずねると、iPhoneでささっと調べ、「生物学的危害。有害な生物による危険性をいう」などというお返事。「注射針とウイルスの危険性のことですかね〜」ともおっしゃっていた。
この文章を書きながら、ウィキペディアに目をやり、「BIOHAZARD、欧米ではRESIDENT EVIL」という記載に気づく。ミラ・ジョヴォヴィッチが主演した映画版の原題は、「RESIDENT EVIL」だったのか。
