なんで、baseball（ベースボール）っていうんですか。
うちのオフィス名の由来をときどき聞かれます。きょうも、西麻布にある広告関連会社の方に質問されました。
このことについて、ホームページなどでもふれたことはなかったと思いますが、書いてみようと思います。
「僕と、もう一人のスタッフは野球好きです。いわば、共通の趣味ですね。それから、広告関係のオフィスには「アドなんとか」「なんとかアド」みたいなネーミングのところも少なくないので、そういった名称にしたくなかったんです。それに、もったいつけたような深い意味がなく、覚えやすいのがいいと思いまして」という説明をしたら、「たしかに、むちゃくちゃ覚えやすいですね」とその方も笑いました。
それから、もうひとこと、こう付け加えました。「相手の方とキャッチボールをしながら仕事を進めたいからです、と言ったりもしています」
