千葉県流山（ながれやま）市を取材で訪れた。先日から、江口寿史さんの漫画『すすめ!!パイレーツ』をときどき読んでいて、小2の息子にせがまれ、読み聞かせなんかもしていたのだが、その影響で流山へ行くことになったのかな。そういう縁かも。なんて考えてしまうくらい、グッドタイミングだった。
漫画に登場するパイレーツの球団オーナーが、豪邸を構えているという設定になっており、冒頭から流山が出てくるのである。
上の写真は、つくばエクスプレス（TX）の流山セントラルパーク駅。
